As we begin the new year, we wanted to look back at our year of change and growth. Infinity Properties continues to grow and we had a busy year, welcoming 14 new incredible key staff members to the office and site team. Despite the challenges in the industry, interest rate hikes, inflation, and government regulation, it was also a year of highlights for Infinity projects in 2023:

• It was a huge year for our Abbotsford master-planned community The Rail District:
– Our Presentation Center and 4 designer display homes opened in March with the release of our 91-unit Brickyard Neighbourhood Townhouse project, currently 90% sold.
– Our 1st 6-storey condominium, The Mason Building, and show suite were released and are 50% sold.
– The 2nd release of 79 townhomes in the Railside Neighbourhood is opening for sales.
– New retail tenants Beard & Bardot and Foxglove opened in the newly completed Rail Plaza. Beard & Bardot opened in December of 2023, and Foxglove is opening its doors in early 2024.
– The Rail Trail was completed and opened to the public connecting our site to the historic downtown area.
• 40 of 44 duplex units Sold at our Roots project in West Langley and have handed over 36 to happy homeowners.
• We held a successful Public Information Meeting for our Abbotsford Maclure Road project, an important step in approvals for 145 townhouses.
• We received 4th reading for our Baycrest project on Burke Mountain in Coquitlam, and we plan to start construction in early 2024 of 66 townhouses.
• Our Langley office building The Xchange became 98% leased in 2023, in the midst of a tough leasing market.
• Our Prince George projects hit major milestones, marketing lots at our new riverfront Banks project and completing servicing on 54 lots in our West Tyner project.
• Our team made 3 visits to Portland in 2023 to check in on various projects: servicing of 102 lots in Phase 3 of our Hidden Falls project; sales of our 31-unit townhome project at Redwood Landing: servicing of our Serres Farms master-planned community in Oregon; future planning of our 110 acre Park Place master-planned project, and finalizing plans for Mill Creek, a 116 mixed unit development in Woodburn, Oregon.

We’ve been able to accomplish so many amazing things this year, but we’re especially proud of the opportunities we had to give back to some of the causes that are the most important to us through our foundation, Heart & Soul:

• We continued volunteering our time as well as financially supporting Nightshift and Life Recovery aiding in the fight against homelessness and drug addiction.
• Infinity was a pillar supporter of the newly established Langley Foundation.
• We continued our support of the Langley and Abbotsford Fire Fighters charities and the work they do in the communities we work and live in.
• Infinity provided health care support through BC Children’s Hospital and Canucks Place.
• In collaborating with Benchmark Homes, we finished the year off with a donation matching program as part of our year-end appreciation night.

As always, we were pleased to have our valued trades and suppliers join us to celebrate another successful year at our December annual trade and supplier party. The Infinity team was also lucky enough to spend a weekend away in Whistler for our staff Christmas party! We look forward to another successful year in 2024!
