It’s that time of year once again – the list of finalists for the 2022 Georgie Awards® has been released and our team is buzzing with excitement. Evaluating local projects in the residential construction industry, the Georgie Awards® celebrate excellence in home building and renovation throughout BC. Showcasing award-winning projects, the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of British Columbia (CHBA BC) have announced this year’s finalists and we’re so proud to announce that Infinity Properties’ “Eastridge Panorama” neighbourhood has snagged two spots!
What Are the Georgie Awards®?
Every year, the residential construction industry buzzes with anticipation, waiting for the announcement of the Georgie Awards® finalists. This province-wide competition recognizes greatness in the home building and renovation sector, highlighting companies that demonstrate “resilience, professionalism, and commitment” to their industry. And in BC, we know how many companies fit this description.

To be considered, our team and fellow CHBA BC members all submitted projects that were developed, built, renovated, created, and marketed between January 1st, 2020, and September 30th, 2021. This year, the competition saw an 11% increase in submissions: an incredible feat after a year of devastating setbacks in our province. From a worldwide pandemic to local flooding and fires, our fellow home builders in BC have displayed incredible determination throughout.
To choose the finalists and winners, the judging panel consists of out-of-province industry professionals. Our team is honoured to work in an industry that’s flooded with so many skilled and deserving individuals. With the number of talented applicants and a variety of award-winning portfolios, it’s fair to say this year was the toughest one yet.
Eastridge Panorama Named Georgie Finalists Twice Over
On January 26th, 2022, the CHBA BC announced their list of finalists, and our very own “Eastridge Panorama” has been named in two categories: Best Corporate/Project Website and Marketing Campaign of the Year.

The 30th Annual Georgie Awards® Gala
Originally set for March 12th, the annual Gala to announce the winners has been postponed to June 4th, 2022. Hoping for another in-person event, our team alongside our fellow 2022 Georgie Awards® finalists will be sitting in anticipation for a little bit longer, as the CHBA BC works to create a Covid-safe environment to make this event possible. But as Neil Moody says, “to be a Georgie Awards® finalist is a coveted achievement” in of itself – and we’re honoured to be included in this years’ awards season.
