Infinity got involved with this rich cultural hub and began building long-lasting relationships with locals.

Long before we break ground on a project, our first step is always to get to know who we’re building for. We make a point of growing relationships, and our first step in Abbotsford was to get involved with the community at the intersection of local food, music and art. We learned quickly that Downtown Abbotsford is a cultural hub, where entrepreneurs, artists and makers come together. If we wanted to learn about what drives this place, we knew the market was the place to be. By way of introducing ourselves, we began investing time and resources here, getting to know its rhythm and meeting the people who care deeply about Abbotsford’s future.

This community has been shaped over the years by its local businesses. There is a strong current of culture that runs through the area and the residents are proud of the historic charm here. It’s a tight-knit place, and Infinity is excited to begin building the Rail District, a master-planned community that complements the character of Downtown Abbotsford. With a 10-year plan to contribute nearly 600 homes throughout seven neighbourhoods, we’re eager to build strong partnerships with the people who have made this community what it is. So many individuals here are deeply invested in building a livable future for Abbotsford today—and for generations to come. Our job as a developer is to listen, learn and help bring this vision to life.

We’ve sought out charities, attended local celebrations and drawn on the insights of the Downtown Business Association. Our idea of success is when we build what the community needs together—with the investment and help of local trades and suppliers. As we embark on our first site, we’re excited to deepen our partnerships with the businesses that make this place what it is.
