Our connection to land, people and local perspectives shapes the places we call home.
Our goal is simple: to be a meaningful part of the communities we build in. We want to design homes that make sense for their surroundings—and to do that, we need to understand the local context. In order to truly experience a place, we look to the land, its history and natural beauty. We tap into the authentic spirit of the community by really becoming a part of it. When we forge connections with the local businesses and grassroots organizations that shape these places, we shift our perspective to one of respect—for the land we build on, the people we build with and the neighbourhoods we build in. This is the foundation for every Infinity home.
local
Understanding the power of place.
From the landscape to the residents, no two places are exactly alike. That’s what makes our work meaningful. Every project is a chance to collaborate with the community and contribute to its vision for the future.
authentic
Driven by our values, always.
Humble and hard-working, but never too serious—our culture is shaped by our shared sense of purpose. Every decision, big or small, is measured against our company values of respect, work ethic and spirit of play.
proud
Only the highest standards.
We know how meaningful a home is. That’s why we build with integrity and only work with partners who do the same. We stand behind everything we do so our homeowners can take pride in their homes.
our story
A proud past and a growing future.
1989–2001:
Born and raised in construction
Infinity founder Tim Bontkes started in the construction industry as a teenager. He co-founded Tool Time framing company with Al in 1997 and completed his Civil Engineering Degree at UBC in 1999—the same year he built his first custom home. After his first structural engineering job with WSB, Tim set out on his own and founded Infinity in 2001—and remains passionate about the industry to this day.
2002–2009:
Focused on land development
During this time, we were responsible for the management and development of 1,500 single-family lots throughout Langley, Surrey, Coquitlam, Maple Ridge and Prince George. Additionally, we managed 60 acres of serviced multi-family land, totaling over 30 projects.
2010:
Rebrand: a Pivot to construction
Infinity had nearly a decade of experience selling single-family lots and development parcels—but we wanted a chance to create even more value for communities. After a thoughtful pivot, we started building our first Infinity homes and saw just how rewarding the process could be.
2011:
2011: Making contributions in new marketsInfinity had the opportunity to bring our community-first approach to development to new markets in the United States. In 2011, we found the right partners and began working in Portland, Oregan—a beautiful location reminiscent of Vancouver, BC in many ways.
2015:
2011: Bringing our Heart & Soul to workGiving back has always been in our DNA, but in 2015, we made it official in the workplace. We launched our Heart & Soul program to help support individuals and organizations in need—and strengthen our team’s ability to do good in our communities.

2017:
Earning industry recognition
Infinity took home the Urban Design Institute Award for Excellence in Urban Development and was named “Best of the Fraser Valley Residential.” That same year, we were award finalists for seven Georgie Awards for our townhome projects, Heritage and Woodland Park.
2018:
Building for sustainability
Infinity built The Belmont, Langley’s first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver Certified residential building. This pioneering project was also a finalist for the HAVAN Awards and Georgie Awards for Best Multi-family Low Rise Development.
2019:
Expanding our capabilities
Infinity became vertically integrated, bringing Construction and Marketing in-house. Our growing team works efficiently and supports our shared company values of respect, work ethic and spirit of play.
2021:
Building a new home for our team
After years of building in communities across the Lower Mainland and US, we were able to build our first jointly owned commercial office space in Langley. It’s a proud moment for Infinity to be able to bring a new standard of design in our hometown.
2022:
Infinity Starts First Masterplanned Community
Phase 1 construction begins at the Rail District. The initial collection of 91 townhomes, including mixed use buildings for future retail, will be the anchor of this future community of over 600 homes in historic downtown Abbotsford.
2024:
Lot 1 of The Rail District is Sold Out
After extensive hard work from the Infinity team, we officially sold out of Lot 1 at The Rail District in June 2024, consisting of 91 townhomes and mixed-use commercial spaces. It’s with pride that we continue building this masterplanned community, effectively transforming Historic Downtown Abbotsford.
What people are saying.
“Our favourite part of our new Infinity home at Wilder Crossing is the charm of the architecture and the open-concept space. We love the interior options such as black fixtures, the shiplap in the powder room and the vaulted ceilings. Having the kitchen, living and dining room all within line of sight is great. It’s a good space to start a family. Another one of our favourite things is how Infinity incorporates nature in a neighbourhood while being very accessible to necessities. You wouldn’t think that almost everything you need is only five minutes away.
Our purchasing experience was very easy. The sales team was friendly and always available to answer any of our questions. We would highly recommend Infinity Properties to others when looking for a home.”
Paolo and Camille Balce, Wilder Crossing
"We love our new home. The floor plan is nice with the bedroom on the ground level. Having the big basement area is a bonus, and a great place to watch a movie, play games and entertain friends.
The Infinity team was very friendly and easy to buy our home from. Having the Infinity representative give us our welcome package was very thoughtful and showed that they cared about the purchase being as smooth as possible. The maintenance portal updates on the home care site are very useful.
We are just getting to know all of our neighbours, and looking forward to Eastridge being a safe, friendly community for all who live here.”
Doreen Mellard, Eastridge Panorama
"I could describe our Infinity home in one word: wonderful. As we are getting older, we needed a new home with a master bedroom on the main floor, a finished basement, double garage and a level entrance. Infinity included all this and much more. The home is very well constructed and soundproof.
Our experience with Infinity was very professional. Cathy May, the Sales and Customer Service Manager, promptly returned all calls and addressed all concerns. During our walkthrough and after we moved in, any issues were corrected immediately."
David and Grace, Eastridge Panorama
“The finishings in an Infinity home are quality—well groomed from the entrance of the complex right through the unit.
Purchasing the home was seamless. The team seemed committed and caring throughout and they were very attentive, especially during the first year of customer care. The best part of our community is how well-finished the entire complex is. Completed with class."
Donna C., Wilder Crossing
“We truly love this home. The design and care for detail is outstanding. My favourite part is the outside design. It’s unique in a good way, and it looks so much better than any other townhome development. The people that live here are great, and the overall look of the community is inviting and family friendly. The Infinity team was very professional, knowledgeable and always took ownership of everything. I work with MANY teams in my work, and the Infinity team is one of the best.”
Mychal F., Wilder Crossing
“We love our new home. Our favourite part is how it felt like home as soon as we moved in. Coming from a bigger house, it was nice to find that our home felt spacious and comfortable at the same time. We enjoyed the positive attitude of the Infinity Team and found it very easy to deal with all people involved in our purchase. So far, the best part of our community is that it is small. We are looking forward to the time when we can meet the people who are still moving in, and we feel that we live in a safe and friendly place. Thank you for the wonderful experience."
